EO Dashboard is supported by the three agencies via several activities. Each agency contributes with EO Data, scientific expertise, and technology, including: NASA’s VEDA, ESA’s Euro Data Cube and the Network of Resources, and Jaxa’s Earth-graphy. The EO Dashboard application is based on the eodash ecosystem. For tutorials, data cataloguing and narrative creation EOxHub Workspaces are used.

Data ​

Developer Tooling & MCP Server ​

The EODash MCP is deployed at https://eodash.mcp.eox.at.

The MCP server enables AI Agents and users extra context for the EODash ecosystem, assisting developers and data curators with:

  • Widget Introspection: Explore built-in eodash widgets, props, and Pinia store bindings (list_widgets, get_widget_details).
  • Map Layer Generation: Convert STAC endpoints, collections, or indicators into complete <eox-map> configurations including baselayers, legends, and temporal controls (generate_map_from_stac).
  • Catalog Validation: Check STAC indicators and collections against eodash schemas and domain rules (validate_catalog_config).
  • Example Discovery: Search curated examples of collections, indicators, processing and jsonform configurations, Vega charts, and layer styles (find_examples).
